What should I wear?
The wedding ceremony will be outdoors on a cherry farm. Rachel will be dressed (semi) formal. Jeffrey will be wearing a dark suit. (See "wedding casual" definition below.)

What does "wedding casual" mean?
Rachel has dubbed the farm's motif "rustic elegance". This means we'll be dressed to the nines, but it's a relaxed NW nine, ala suits and summer dresses. For women, we recommend avoiding high heels. Keep in mind the venue is like a B&B, and the ceremony will be outdoors.

Is it going to rain all weekend?
The Columbia River Gorge in August may be up into the 90s, with rocketing winds (making it one of the windsurf cathedrals of the world). Albeit Oregon, rain is unlikely in the summer between Memorial and Labor Day weekends.

Can I bring my baby to the wedding?
Absolutely! There should be plenty of kids running about. Cherry Hill has a wonderful play area for children and the site will be staffed with a few babysitters.

What's there to do in Hood River?
The town caters to tourists and outdoor sports enthusiasts, which means there are easy-to-find visitor information centers and more than ample brew-pubs. It's a wonderful place to walk around town, shop for windsurf gear, and test the oncoming traffic for pedestrian right-of-way.
